Applying to join our St Joseph’s Family
If your child was born between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2016 you will need to apply for a Primary Reception place commencing in September 2020. The online admissions system for applications opens on 1st September 2019 and the closing date is 15th January 2020. Please follow the link below for details and to apply:
As a faith school, we will also require you to complete a Supplementary Information Form and to supply any relevant supporting documentation (i.e. Certificate of Catholic Practice, Baptism Certificate, if appropriate) IN ADDITION to making an application online to Camden. If you are of a different Christian denomination or of a different faith, it can be helpful to provide a supporting letter from your priest, minister or religious leader
Please see the Admissions Policy here: 2020-21 ADMISSION POLICY – Reception
The application process for a Nursery place in the academic year 2020-21 follows the same dates as above, but applications are made directly to the school with a SIF and supporting documents. Children born between 1st September 2016 and 31st August 2017 will be in this category. There is no need to apply online for Nursery. Supplementary Information Forms for our school are available here. If you need any further help or have any queries regarding admissions, or if you would like to visit the school, please contact the School Office.
For both Nursery and Reception places, the outcome of the applications will be communicated to you in April 2020.
It is important to note that a place in the Nursery does not guarantee a place in the school the following year. Both processes are completely separate.
For admissions please contact the school directly to enquire about vacancies. The SIF for in-year applications is included in the documents on this page.
NB: Government arrangements re Early Years Funding may affect our Nursery offer for 2020-2021. For 2019-2020 we have offered 30 hours to ALL children, but urged parents to apply for the funding either from the DfE or from Camden, depending on circumstances, as without this the school is obliged to cover the shortfall.
